Hands with Hands (HwH) Fieldwork 2014

It was a wonderful opportunity to return to Nepal in November 2014 and reconnect with some of the people I met in 2011 incuding old and new Jutpani Microfinance Cooperative and other personnel linked to HwH's projects in various districts in Nepal.

This time I was not travelling independently but teamed up with other (HwH) global network members.

Kira Kay the International president of HwH's guided us through this visit.

This fieldwork approach was not as formal as my first visit, although this visit was set up for a longitudinal study. This meant speaking with some of those interviewed previously and other members linked to the Jutpani Microfinance Cooperative in Chitwan District. Included was data from one of HwH's Children's Home and those involved. The aim was to include local contributers for Book 2.

From the left Erin's chapter was, Paralell lives - insights of a shared experience.

Kira's chapter captures concepts and context plus Hands with Hands overview.

Viti was revisiting the microfinance cooperative memebers and

Nina's chapter was about Social Investment.
