2nd Phase - "This Design Lab offers [participants] the opportunity to make an impactful difference in solving some of WA's most urgent social issues

As a participant of one of six groups, we need to develop a framework that translates into impactful action in readiness for Phase 3 second half of 2021


2019-2020 Manager Strategy, Policy and Projects - Sudbury Community House, Mirrabooka

State Government Procurement by SCH Empowering Communities Program funding for five activities:

  1. Skillsbank Model (set up an Inventory List for Volunteers with specific skills).

  2. Develop an Incubator for emerging community groups within the community

  3. Annual Co-design Workshops enable community members to have their say, shape the direction of service delivery from the Centre to meet community needs. 

  4. Launch of Sudbury Community Education Hub at the Centre  (Social Enterprise Model).

  5. Outreach Node, in partnership with The Mirrabooka Square, has proven to be a thriving community engagement model.
